By accessing or using Demo Lens ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Demo Lens provides Counter-Strike 2 demo file analysis, including but not limited to:
- Demo file parsing and storage
- Statistical analysis and heatmap generation
- Performance metrics and player analytics
- Team collaboration tools
- API access for programmatic integration
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use Demo Lens, you must authenticate using Steam. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Account Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Not share your account with others
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
4. Subscription and Billing
4.1 Subscription Plans
Demo Lens offers multiple subscription tiers: Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise. Each tier has different features and usage limits as described on our Pricing page.
4.2 Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or customer portal.
4.4 Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of your subscription, contact us for a full refund.
4.5 Plan Changes
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you'll be charged a prorated amount. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
5. Usage Limits and Quotas
Each subscription tier has specific limits on:
- Number of users
- Demo files per month
- Storage capacity
- API requests
Exceeding these limits may result in service interruption until you upgrade your plan or the next billing cycle begins.
6. Data and Privacy
6.1 Your Data
You retain all rights to the demo files and data you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6.2 Data Storage
We store your data securely and maintain regular backups. However, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data.
6.3 Data Deletion
When you delete data or close your account, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
6.4 Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Demo Lens, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal activities
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use the Service to spam or harass others
- Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
- Exceed API rate limits or abuse system resources
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Rights
The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, and other content (excluding your uploaded content), is owned by Demo Lens and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
8.3 Third-Party Content
Counter-Strike 2 is a trademark of Valve Corporation. Demo Lens is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation.
9. API Usage
If you use our API:
- You must include proper attribution when displaying Demo Lens data
- You must respect rate limits and quotas
- API keys must be kept secure and not shared publicly
- We reserve the right to revoke API access at any time
10. Service Availability
10.1 Uptime
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees as specified in your service agreement.
10.2 Maintenance
We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible. Emergency maintenance may be performed without notice.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may cancel your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse the Service or our support team
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your data after a 30-day grace period (except where required to retain it by law).
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CS VAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or use
- Business interruption
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Demo Lens harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Demo Lens operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
17. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
